About Me

First, I want to start by saying thank you for taking the time to visit this site. You either know me from a previous life that I lived in Austin, Tx, you might have just met me on my current travels, or you might have stumbled upon this site through the cyberspace workings. Either way, welcome!

Let me introduce myself…

I’m Marguerite. Some may know me as Reet.

AboutMe

My partner, Michelle, and I converted a Ford E-250 Econoline, named Blanche.

Meet Blanche…

Blanche

Blanche is our pride and joy. We spent five months converting her into a place we call home.

We also travel with our dog Daisy…

Daisy

Daisy likes to explore dog parks, eat lobster rolls, and wear plaid sweaters.

Currently, we are traveling the United States visiting friends, places we’ve dreamed of, and towns that have never crossed our minds.

Before embarking on this wild adventure I was a personal trainer for six in a half years at an amazing local gym in Austin, Tx. There, I learned more than any trainer can imagine. Before becoming a trainer, I knew nothing about strength training. Endorphin release was what I was chasing. Literally, whether it was running or biking, I was chasing the feeling of the good vibes and a barbell meant nothing to me.

Six in a half years later after many years under the wings of amazing mentors, I can say I am an expert in strength training. I’ve seen hundreds of barbell squats, deadlifts, bench presses, Olympic lifts, and many more strength exercises for all different types of people.

I received a B.S. in Exercise Sports and Science at the University of Texas State. I am USAW certified and studied yoga at the Vinyasa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, earing a 200hr yoga teacher certification.

While hitting the road I had no clue what direction I wanted to go with my career.

After some questioning, I decided to ask the universe. The answer came immediately with a random message from an old high school friend asking for help with losing weight. With a little messaging back and forth a spark lit up inside of me. A feeling that I’m on the right track.

The next morning at a donut shop (judge me, I like a donut from time to time ) in Portland, Maine, spontaneity struck again. Before I knew it, I was in a motivating conversation with the woman sitting next to me about fitness and health. The knowledge and passion came spilling out effortlessly. The spark inside started growing bigger and bigger.

So, here I am…

here to share my passion, enthusiasm, and genuine concern for health, happiness, and fitness.

Vanlife fitness will be one side of what this new journey is about. Here you can come for motivation, knowledge, and help with any fitness concerns.

Bhakti State of Mind is the other side of my journey. At Bhakti State of Mind, you can find the other dimensions of what makes a life fulfilling. Being physically in shape is important for so many reasons, but being emotionally and spiritually strong is even more important.

When I asked myself what my purpose in life is, the answer is always the same.

To help others define what happiness means to them.

My mission is to make others smile. To be the light in the room that fill the hearts of others with hope, motivation, and love. I am here to help others become happy and to live a life worth living.

I hope you enjoyed this little intro into so much more to come.
